Megapixels to print size
A 24MP image is 6000 × 4000 pixels. At 300 DPI (gallery standard) that prints at 20 × 13 inches. Lower the DPI and you can print larger — useful for posters viewed from a distance.
A practical rule
300 DPI for close viewing, 150 DPI for large prints viewed from a few feet away. The calculator shows the largest native (uncropped) size for each.
